The Black Sorrows

with Adventure Spirit
Caravan Music Club, Friday 28th January 2011

After having a rest the previous week, I was looking forward to this gig as I enjoyed the Black Sorrows set at the Queenscliff Music Festival and wanted to see them play a longer show.

The Adventure Spirit opened the night and I thought they went well.

There was a big crowd in by the time the Black Sorrows started and heaps of people ended up dancing during the first set. The band even played a special section of Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons songs for one of their fans in the audience. I also liked that the band just played the extra songs rather than waiting for people to ask for an encore.

It was a great night and there are some good looking gigs coming up in the near future at the Caravan.
