Sissies & Sluts Theater Company present L.A. Gambin's the Cocksucker Club
with special guests the Eggs I don't often get to see live theatre as I am not really into the scene and I can go to see half a dozen gigs for the cost of buying the one ticket to one of the big musicals in town. I remember seeing the Sissies and Sluts Theater Company performing at the Spanish Club closing party last year and I enjoyed them. Also the Eggs were playing a rare gig in the city so they asked me to come by. I can't really describe the show only to say it is weird and is acted in a deliberately bad way. The cast had a lot of fun and busted up laughing a few times, which was good to see. After the play the Eggs played which was going as normal until the cast of the play decided to take their shirts off, squirt fake blood on each other and start dancing around. There was a second double-speed run through of the performance after the Eggs finished which ended with people having to dodge flying cheese slices and a chicken was thrown at one point. Hopefully there are a few more people for the next two weeks of performances to join in the fun. The Eggs are the house band for the next two performances also, which should be great.
