Small Affairs, Cooper St Exit, Doggie Paddle Scandal, Forgiven Rival

Ding Dong Lounge, Wednesday 17th October 2007

I was only going to see the first band on the night but as I am not working at the moment I decided to stay for all the bands as I don't usually get to stay out during the week.

The Small Affairs were on first and I thought they went very well for their first gig in one and a half years. Cooper St Exit were interesting and it was the first time I had seen someone with an acoustic guitar in Ding Dong. Doggie Paddle Scandal were great and had a slightly reggae feel to them.

The biggest surprise of the night were Forgiven Rival as I don't see that much hard rock and am not really into the indie scene. I will look forward to seeing all the bands I saw on the night in the future.
