Don Walker

with Roy Payne
Caravan Music Club, Friday 21st May 2010

I heard about this gig ages ago and was looking forward to it. Even though I had a busy weekend previously, I still wanted to go as I knew it was going to be a special night.

Roy Payne opening the night and played some good songs. I liked his mini-guitar and the two-necked one he played during the main show.

I hadn't expected Don Walker to do Khe Sanh as the first song, but it was a good version and saved people from yelling it out for the whole set. I think there were a few other Chisel songs over the course of the night and some older work.

My favourite song of the night was "Harry was a bad bugger", but I liked most of the other songs too. It was a great night and I am looking forward to seeing the next gig at the Caravan Music Club.
