Dragaoke at the Greyhound Hotel

For some reason I thought the Dragaoke was going to be the last karaoke of the year, but a message from Johnny asking me to come as he had waxed especially for the occasion.

Even though I had already had a busy day, I wanted to go to see what Fred and Johnny Down the Pint looked like and a few of the Pint on Punt crowd were going to come down also.

It will be a shame when Kooky Karaoke finishes as the other karaoke's around town are too serious and the contestants are water-drinkers. The karaoke at the Greyhound was the first regular night I started going out to in Melbourne and I still remember all the characters it has had over the years.

Since Johnny Down the Pint has been hosting it with Fred it has been great as both of the host enjoy doing it and lots more people have been coming down.

The grand final is next week, but hopefully there will be a few more karaoke's on until March next year which is the new deadline for bands at the Greyhound.
