Gleny Rae and Her Tamworth PlayboysGreyhound Hotel, Thursday 22nd December 2007 Even though I had the Queenscliff Music Festival to go to the next day, I learnt my lesson from last year and knew I wasn't going to be able to get to sleep early anyway. I hadn't seen Gleny Rae since last year and I didn't know if I would get the chance to see them on the Blues Train during the festival on the weekend. It turned out to be a great gig and I even got to talk to Ngwara Madison who I had been in touch with over email. Hopefully I will get to see her playing at the Greyhound some time in the future. Ngwara and her friends had lots of fun and even got up to dance to one song during the set. Special guest pedal steel player was Gareth Costigan as the President couldn't make it down this time. It was a great night and hopefully I will get to see Gleny and the band when they come down next. |
