Great Southern BBQ

with Chris Altmann & Que Paso
and special guests Sarah Carroll, Suzannah Espie, Anna Burley, Matt Walker, Tim Rogers
as part of the Carnival of Suburbia
Caravan Music Club, Sunday 13th March 2011

I didn't end up having a sleep at home like I thought as I had to have a shower and get changed as it had been a sweaty morning. Luckily there was a change while I was on the way home so it was not so hot when I arrived back. Straight onto the BBQ for a late lunch as I wanted to make sure I had something to eat before I took photos. I did talk to Sarah and a few other people during the day.

It had been quite a while since I saw the full Que Paso band so I was looking forward to the gig and all the special guests.

There were even more people there than the morning session and everyone seemed to have a good time. The special guests went down a treat with the highlight being Tim Rogers' two songs at the end.

I would have liked to stay around and have a drink afterwards, but I had promised a friend to go to their send-off gig in the city so I had to rush off. Thanks to Judy and Ian for giving me a lift to Domain Rd interchange.
