The Hybernators
with Catgut Mary, Brigitte Handley & The Dark Shadows Even though I had already had a big day on my birthday the previous day, I had promised to come to this gig as I didn't have my camera with me the last time the Hybernators played with Brigitte Handley at the same venue and I wanted to rectify it. It was a very warm night and that would have been one of the main reasons why people were not dancing to Catgut Mary's set as I thought they were great. I hadn't heard much of that sort of music before and they would be a great party band if you were that way inclined. Brigitte Handley & The Dark Shadows were also great and it was good to see them after last time when I didn't get to see all of their set. The Hybernators played one of their best gigs in ages and even the regulars from the Greyhound were dancing to them with some people jumping off tables towards the end of their set. Even though one of the pool tables is gone, Richard still managed to climb on something to top off the gig. Luckily they eventually managed to find Antman's glasses after they finished and hopefully everyone else had a good time.
