Labretta Suede & the Motel 6
with Runaway Boys RIP, The Exotics As I have a lot of choices of gigs to go to these days I usually make up my mind weeks or months in advance what ones I will be attending, so it was great to be get to this one on the spur of the moment for once. As it was a really got day I didn't want to be sitting at home with the fan on trying to keep cool and didn't even have dinner before the gig as it was too hot. I had seen the Runaway Boys RIP recently supporting the Longnecks at the same venue and my friend said to say hello to them. I thought they went well and hopefully will be seeing them in the future. I admit that I never expected the Exotics would play at the Ding Dong as I had mostly seen them at pubs. They were as good as I remember them and I also got to say hello to Ollie Laurie after the show. Luckily I did get to say hello to Labretta Suede & the Motel 6 before their show as I wasn't going to be able to hang around the show. I thought their set went great and Labretta Suede even managed to have a costume change during it. Having their friend dance on the stage was great also. I thought they went great and next time I will try and bring more people to one of their gigs.
