Lil' Band O' Gold

with the Junes
East Brunswick Club, Thursday 30th September 2010

I had booked in for this gig and the next night when the tickets first went on sale in July, so I had planned to have a big night and made arrangements to have the day off Friday to recover. Everyone was talking about the show at the Caravan Music Club the night before, the bass player still had his t-shirt on and CC Adcock thanked the venue.

The Junes were great and there were quite a few people there already for their set, which was good to see.

After warming up the night before Lil' Band O' Gold played an excellent show and went longer than I thought and I was happy enough to have to get a taxi home as it was a great night. I had heard some of the new additions to the show the night before but there were some surprises.

It was too crowded to dance up the front or in the middle, but the Junes were dancing up the back and Grace on top of the merch table. I was happy to have gone to this gig was looking forward to the next night's even more.
