Liz Stringer Tides of Time CD Launchwith Sal Kimber I had not had the opportunity as yet to go see anyone at the Thornbury Theatre, so I have to thank Richard and Julie for inviting me and for dinner beforehand. For some reason we thought we were running late, but once we got there was still half an hour before the show started. It is a big room and although I had seen photos from events there in the past, you have to go there to see the scale of the place. I thought it was great there were so many people there to see Liz Stringer and hopefully she sells a lot of CDs. Although I had heard of Sal Kimber before, I hadn't had the opportunity to see her before. I will try to see her around town in the future. Liz Stringer played the entirety of the "Tides of Time" CD for the first part of the show and them some old favourites. I thought it was a great night and the special guest Van Walker, Jordie Lane and Simon Bailey as special guests. I will try to get back to venue to see the "Someday We'll Find It" charity event and definitely for Jen Cloher/Jordie Lane next month. |
