RRR/PBS Megahertz 10th Anniversary

Even though last Sunday was a great send off, I just had to go back to the Spanish Club one last time before it closed as I wanted to support RRR & PBS FM and continue my coverage of this year's Community Cup (Rockdogs pie night next month.)

Johnny Von Goes was the MC and a great one he was too. He introduced the members of the panel who gave their versions of events relating to the last ten years of the Megahertz playing in the Community Cup with lots of laughs in between. I also liked seeing 'Uncle Sam' bringing out pies and other goodies for the panellists after their speech from his big bag.

Proceedings were punctuated with a three handball comps with the ultimate winner being Sam Pang. I always like a good handball comp and it livened up proceedings no end.

The Megahertz 'Team of the Decade' was also revealed with lots of cheers and fanfare and then the rest of the night's entertainment continued. I only stayed for part of the Bowerbirds' set, but I am sure British India were great also.
