Mrs Wainwright
with Milk, Lipstick & Spurs and guests I hadn't seen Mrs Wainwright since last year so I was looking forward to seeing them again. As I arrived early I got to see Milk play with their special guest and I thought they went well. I liked their song about West Brunswick and will have to tell my friend about it. There's no food served at the pub, so I had to pop down the road to get dinner. I got back just in time to see Mrs Wainwright's first set which was great. Special guests for the night were the Lipstick & Spurs Choir. I couldn't even find a Myspace for the group, only a couple of blog mentions. Any members of the group are welcome to contact me if they want more photos as I took heaps of photos when they are on. I liked that they had gone to the trouble to dress up in the country theme as well as singing in the style. They sung some country tunes as well as Trish's songs "Flowers" and "Waiting For You", which were great. The last set of Mrs Wainwright was relaxing for me. I might try and get back to see the band for another gig before the end of their residency if circumstances allow.
