Mrs Wainwright CD Launch
with Reflecos and the Conch (unseen) I hadn't seen Mrs Wainwright perform since last year so it was great to hear of there new CD and that I would get a chance to see them again. I had been enjoying the new CD for a few weeks and was looking forward to seeing them perform the new songs live. As it was a beautiful spring day, it was good to see a lot of people turning up to see the first band Reflecos and people seemed to enjoy them with lots of toddlers dancing in particular. Heaps of people turned up for Mrs Wainwright which was great to see. I don't often get over the Westgate so I haven't been seeing them at their residencies at the Prince Albert in Williamstown. Some of the set was also filmed by the NoiseTV crew, so expect to see highlights appearing on Channel 31 soon. There was another band on afterwards (the Conch), but I had promised to drop in on someone's birthday afterwards so I didn't stay to see them. Hopefully the people who stayed for their set had a good time and I will try to see them another time as I said to their merch person at the door. |
