The Nymphs

with Carolyn Bryers, She Said, Missing Supergirl
Bendigo Hotel, Sunday 20th June 2010

I had wanted to see the Nymphs since March when they played a gig with Dave Graney (I went to the Apollo Bay Music Festival instead) and then at the Bendigo Hotel last month (was asked to see Little Freddie and the Pops), so I was looking forward to seeing them so much. It's been a while since I have liked a band so much from the first time I saw them, but the Nymphs are really great and I was so happy to see them I took hundreds of photos. I enjoyed "Zuckerman's famous pig", their own songs and their version of "Enter Sandman". Also I liked their Betty Hutton song and will have to give them one of her albums. Cheers to Bek for saying hello after their set and posing for a photo.

Carolyn Bryers was good and hopefully plays more gigs around town in the future.

She Said also played well and thanks to Mel and Kez for giving me their EP, I did get some funny shots during their set.

Missing Supergirl were a nice finish to the day and I hope to hear from them in the future. I hadn't expected to stay so late so I just dropped in for a couple of minutes at the Tote on the way home. It's been a while since I had been to a gig where I hadn't seen any of the bands beforehand, was great.
