The Nymphs EP Launch

with Steph Brett, The Twoks
Grace Darling, Friday 12th November 2010

I had been looking forward to the Nymphs EP launch for ages as I had to miss their one during the Fringe Festival due to having something else on. There was also a lot of other gigs on the same night including Sally Seltmann and Georgia Fields CD launch, but I did not want to miss this.

Even though it was a stinking hot night, I still took the giant tiger head. I did not wear it though as I would have suffocated in the stifling room upstairs at the Grace Darling.

Steph Brett was nice and it was good to see the crowd build during her set.

The Twoks played to quite a few people and even had them dancing by the end.

By the time the Nymphs came on the room was very full and it was lucky I arrived early or I wouldn't have gotten in. As a special treat for the night the Nymphs were joined by a keyboard player, double bass and drummer from the Tiger and Me and it helped make the night even more special. It was a great night and I will try to go see the Nymphs more often in the future.
