Ian Nightingale, Kids in Cults, SPG
Pint on Punt
Friday, 8th June 2007
With the last long weekend until November, I wanted to have an easy start and so decided not
to go too hard at it on Friday. First up was Ian Nightingale who played acoustic country songs
that the party of office drinkers seemed to enjoy.
Kids in Cults kicked it up a notch and I thought they did really well dealing with some of
the drunkards wanting to get up and sing with them. I am sure they are going to come back
in the future and I look forward to seeing them.
Fred recommended that I come to see SPG and I thought they went really well. I like novelty
songs and they had a few of them in their set as well as having some novelty props and a smoke
machine (it didn't work too good though.) Hopefully they will play with the Twits in the future
as that would be a good night.
