Gareth's Birthdaywith Fred & Dave, 57 Pages of Pink, Lookout Mountain I arrived at the Pint just in time for Brendan's charity head shave, which was good to see. Heaps of the backpackers who don't usually come downstairs were there and everyone put money in the pint glass for it. I didn't see as much of the bands as I was walking around taking photos of people getting their heads shaved, 30 Jagerbombs being set up on the bar and general carousing. Special mention must go to Ruth and Jip's cake and Tie Fighter rumballs for Gareth's birthday as they were great. Even though I had a sleep in the afternoon, I was still tired after staying up late the previous night to watch the opening ceremony of the Olympics and yell at the TV, my wallet was empty by then anyway and I don't trust myself to take money out when I have been drinking. |
