Pirates of Beer
with special guests Shulah and Mym Hampson I had been looking forward to this gig for ages as the Pirates of Beer are a band I seem to hear about a lot, but I have only been able to see them once when they played with Bill Kirchen back in 2007. As Sarah said they are a festival-only band due to people living all over the place so it was great to get to see them. The order of the night went between Sarah and Chris singing their songs with the second set being the dancing set and special guests Shulah and Mym. Cheers to Richard and Julie for letting my sit on their table and buying me drinks and for Peter and the crew for inviting me to take photos. If you are going to be in Tamworth over the Australia Day long weekend I recommend you go to see the Pirates of Beer and also the Junes as they will be great. I am looking forward to the upcoming gigs at this venue including the Models Super Orchestra in February.
