Doug de Vries, Little Freddie and the Pops

Pure Pop, Sunday 2nd May 2010

Little Freddie and the Pops members:
Little Freddie: Vocals
Dusty Springclean: Guitar
Buddy Frankston: Guitar
Tuesday Week: Bass
Harry Veranda: Drums

I had missed the last few gigs for Little Freddie and the Pops so I wanted to see at least one of their gigs on the Sunday as I promised I would try to make it.

It was good to see people having a jam with Doug de Vries and they seemed happy enough themselves so I didn't join them.

I thought Little Freddie and the Pops played great and I enjoyed their new songs. I hope they had a good time at the Lyerbird.

After the little Freddie and the Pops gig, I said hello to Mark Ferrie outside and thought about going to see Billy Miller at the GPB after seeing him on Rockwiz the previous night, but decided to go to the Pint instead.

Little Freddie and the Pops

Andy Baylor and friends

St Kilda Bowling Club, Sunday 2nd May 2010

As it was busy at the Pint, I thought I would drop into the St Kilda Bowling Club as I hadn't been there for a few weeks.

It was good to see Andy Baylor and his band and cheers to Tracy and Peter who I sat with during the first set.
