Tim Crossey, Van Walker, Liz Stringer

Pure Pop Records, Sunday 8th November 2009

It was a bit of a warm day, but I still wanted to go down to Pure Pop early so I would be inside if the doors had to be closed due to maximum capacity.

I arrived in time to see Tim Crossey from Newcastle who said he doesn't have a website, but I have managed to find the page for his fan club for some strange reason. Van Walker was disturbed by him going shirtless and kept telling him to put some clothes on.

Van Walker was a bit under the weather, but I would have though Cal would have been hotter due to his beard being bigger. He managed to forget some of the words for one of his songs due to the heat, but the audience was just as hot and forgiving. My friend came with her dog towards the end of their set so I watched the last part of it from up the back.

Liz Stringer played the last slot of the day and played one set by herself and another with Van and Cal and the last few songs with Tim Crossey also.

Cheers to Dave, Tim Rogers, Fred and Dave who I said hello to on the day and hopefully I will come down for another afternoon in the near future.
