Little Freddie and the Pops, Sarah-Bethe Nelson, Kelley Stoltz

with special guest Julian Wu
Pure Pop Records, Sunday 27th December 2009

I had missed seeing Little Freddie and the Pops just before Christmas and earlier in the month so it was good to get down to Pure Pop to see them.

They played well and I will be looking forward to their new CD some time in the new year.

I have to admit I didn't know who Sarah-Bethe Nelson or Kelley Stoltz were, but I thought they played great and Kelley even did a joke song when he started singing about sitars in the style of Neil Young. It was great to see Julian Wu guesting on one song as I missed seeing him play with the Triffids last year.

Kelley Stoltz is playing a few more gigs in Melbourne and Sydney so I am sure lots of people will go to see him.

After the show I picked up the Wolfgramm Sisters new CD, which was great and I am looking forward to seeing more shows at Pure Pop next year.
