Redfish Bluegrass

The Gem
Sunday, 4th March 2007

I had heard about the Gem for a while and had wanted to go see a band there, so when one of the band members who was out on the piss the previous night asked me to come I agreed. I had hoped my friend would come, but she didn't turn up this time (at least I didn't have to eat the donuts by myself this time.)

I got there a bit too early so I ended up walking around the streets of Collingwood and poked my head into the Leinster Arms out of curiosity (he wasn't there, but there were lots of photos of you-know-who.)

The band were just arriving as I finished dinner. There is not much room to play so I agreed to move back. Then move back some more, then get up as I didn't want to be blocked in. The COCKHEADS on the table behind WOULD NOT SHUT UP and just talked louder when Redfish started. There was a near-blue over the pool table, I couldn't find anywhere to stand or sit, bollocks to this as a venue then.
