The Re-mains
with Chris Wilson and the Spidermen As I hadn't been to the East Brunswick Club for a while and wanted to see the Re-mains do a show on their own at least once on this trip down I was looking forward to this show. I had meant to see them the night before in St Kilda, but ended up going to Dr Sketchy instead (Mick agreed with me on that one.) Before the show I was lucky enough to take some promo shots for the Re-mains outside the pub and hopefully they will be able to use some of them in the future. Also I had a chat to Chris Wilson who paid out on me for taking photos of burlesque shows (I am used to it by now after three years of people saying the same thing.) Cheers to Luke for putting the Re-mains on and hopefully more people will come to the Pipettes in a couple of weeks. It was good to see Chris Wilson play with his full band again after seeing him play with Shane O'Mara at the Arts Centre and down at Queenscliff. The Re-mains played a lot of new songs, which was great to see. I only heard one of their older songs during the set as I had to leave early, but I am sure everyone had a good time. I was lucky to get to see them this time as it turns out there has been some scheduling conflicts and they will only be doing one short set on Sunday at the Croxton Christmas party. |
