The Re-mains
with Bec and Den Hanrahan As the Re-mains don't get down to Melbourne that often I wanted to see them as many times as possible when they were on tour this time. I had a rest the previous night so I didn't see them at the Rainbow, but after the Thursday gig I also managed to get along to their last gig at Transport on the Sunday with some friends. Special guests for the night were Bec doing a solo act and Den Hanrahan with Grant Bedford on drums. There was a slightly different line up for this gig with Den Hanrahan on slide and guitar as well as a different set list. It was good to see a lot of St Kilda locals out as well as quite a few people from other bands. I even managed to get some of my friends out to their show on Sunday and have some drinks. The Re-mains next Melbourne show that I know of will be one of Mick Thomas' Christmas shows later in the year which I am sure will go very well and I will try to get a big group of people to come along to.
