Sarah Carroll at the Spanish Club
with Andy Baylor, Dan Warner & Marcel Borrack I had been to Sarah's last residency at the Spanish Club in December last year and decided to go again as I am working now so I could go out more and not have to worry as much about money. With the Spanish Club closing to live music at the end of June I was lucky enough to try the two person Paella del Club and lots of sangria. It was also great to see Sarah in a lot happier circumstances for myself at least than the final show of her residency before Christmas last year, but I won't go into that here. Special guests for the final night of the residency where Dan Warner and Marcel Borrack and it was great to see them playing with Sarah again as I last saw them together at the Queenscliff Music Festival last year. It was also great to see Sarah play with Andy Baylor as I enjoyed seeing him play with Sarah last year. I had hoped my friends would turn up, but at least they ended up coming for one week at least. I still had a good time with the sangria and even got to say hello to the barmaid who I like there. It was a great residency and I am looking forward to Sarah's next gigs as well as the upcoming busy time with the Community Cup coming up. |
