Sime Nugent Single Launch
with The Happy Hour Band, Matt Walker, Suzannah Espie and the Last Word, Angie Hart I wasn't originally going to this gig as I have a busy weekend coming up next week and am not working at the moment. Thanks to Jess at the Defamer website for getting my name on the door - All I had to do was send in a link to this video. I hadn't seen Matt Walker for ages so it was good to see him opening the show. I didn't know there were going to be tables at the front for this gig as that is normally not the case. Suzannah and her band played down at the Greyhound the other week, but I wanted to see them again as I hadn't seen them for a while before that. Unfortunately my friend couldn't make it this time as she wanted to see them. The last time I saw Sime Nugent play was at the Queenscliff Music Festival last year. I knew that the gig was being recorded, but didn't know there wasn't someone taking photos so I was happy to do so. Special guests for this gig included Angie Hart, Suzannah Espie and Matt Walker for the encore. It was a great show and I will be looking forward to the live single when it comes out. Hello to the person who sat on the table with me (sorry, I forgot your name), I hope you enjoyed the show.
