Someday We'll Find It Starring: I had been looking forward to this gig for weeks and was lucky to get a ticket just after they announced Kahmal was joining the line-up and a week later all the tickets had sold out. There were lots of people lining up early to get in and cheers to Amanda who I said hello to in the line and also Melissa and friends. Even though I managed to get a seat on a table up the front, I ended up on the floor near the far left of the stage for most of the show so I could get some better shots. It was really great to have Fozzie Bear and Kermit present in puppet form and they added a lot to the show as did Statler and Waldorf up on the balcony. I have to admit that I didn't recognise who was playing Miss Piggy at first until I looked at her eyes, but Simoncee Page Jones was great in character and hopefully didn't lose her voice too much from doing it the whole night. The Swedish Chef was funny, but I am not sure everyone got to see him that well as he was over in the corner. The kids wanting to eat the dough he was throwing around was funny. Lydia the Tattooed Lady one of the highlights of the first set with Jade Blair doing some great dance moves and twirling around. I also enjoyed Miss Piggy and Sophie Brous and it was good to see her again. Kahmal walked on stage to huge cheers to talk about the night and ask people to buy tickets for the raffle for one of his gold records. I was very thirsty by the interval, so I went to the bar and bumped into Lydia the Tattooed Lady and the Chicken Chorus Line. Kids were running around everywhere jumping off things, but you would have to expect that as they were excited and it was big night. As expected, the highlight of the second set was Kahmal, I even gave him a standing ovation at the end as did quite a few others. Even better were some of his own jokes and the way the audience responded to him. It got a bit messy towards the end with all full bag of bean bag beans being blown through a fan during Wayne and Wanda, I was underneath the fan at the time. The big finish was the timeless Rainbow Connection with the full cast and a cake at the end. It was a great night, a bit chaotic perhaps, but keeping with the spirit of the great Jim Henson and the Muppet show it could not be beat.
