Truckstop Honeymoonwith Sarah Carroll and the Blue Tinsel East Brunswick Club, Sunday 21st March 2010 I originally wasn't able to be able to make it to this gig as I haven't been working, but I am glad I did as I really enjoyed Truckstop Honeymoon the last time they came out. Luckily I was able to make it to see Sarah's one-off band "the Blue Tinsel" who played all her old favourites and a few new songs that she has been doing lately. Truckstop Honeymoon were really great and it was like they were having a conversation with the audience in their between song banter. Mike makes some funny faces when he sings and some people laughed even in the bits were they weren't meant to like the story about Hurricane Katrina. I still haven't bought any of their albums as yet, I will have to rectify that soonish. Dougie Bull's double bass that Miss Katie played also got a good workout as I remember they only had a skinny one last time. Lots of people were singing along to their songs, and I am sure some people have seen them more than once on this tour, I am looking forward to seeing them again already.
