U.G.L.Y. Comedy Night
raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation
Nat told me about this night ages ago and I was looking forward to it even though the lineup changed a bit in a the last few weeks.
I usually only go out to see comedy during the Comedy Festival in April, so it was good to see some comedy in a pub like when I used to go down to the Espy Comedy every Sunday in early 2000.
I had heard of one of the comedians before, but I thought they all went great and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, especially the Irish boys up the back who enjoyed themselves very loudly towards the end of the night.
Casey played at the end of the night and was really great, unfortunately I was still tired from the night before so I only stayed for a couple of songs. I would recommend going to see Casey as he is a guitar whiz and changed the words around in the songs to make them funnier and did a sing along with the audience.
Cheers to Nat for organising the night and I hope you raised lots of money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
