The Yearlings/Leah Flanagan & Liz Stringer
with Pleasing Anna, Jen Cloher & Toby Robinson The first gig of the year at Richard's and already it was a big one with four bands on the bill. I had a chat to Lauren and Keren from Pleasing Anna before the show and thought they did very well with their few songs. The Yearlings were up next and were just as good as I remember seeing them three years ago when they were doing the "Bless This House" tour with Suzannah Espie and Ian Collard. As a special preview for April's show, Jen Cloher and Toby Robinson did a few songs and I am looking forward to seeing them now. Leah Flanagan and Liz Stringer rocked out, despite a few technical issues they laughed at. Liz did a closing song at the special request of Richard and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I had to leave straight after the gig, but I am sure the people who stayed on had a good time. I am looking forward to seeing Kim Richey on the 20th March.
