Zombie Ghost Train
with The Hybernators, The Vaudevillains, Sin City I wasn't planning on going anywhere for the next few weeks due to not working, but Richard from the Hybernators asked me to come and take photos for this show, so I agreed to it. The Hybernators played well to the early crowd and Richard didn't even jump off the stage. This was strange considering that the two bands afterwards did. The Vaudevillains were up next and were as good as I remember them from their Route 66 in store. Was I hearing them or did they start singing "Chocolate Rain" during the sound check? They have quite a good following now, which is great to see. I hadn't seen Sin City for four years, but my friend really likes them. They were the most rock act of the night with the two guitarists jumping around behind the lead singer. She did get up to some antics, but has toned down since I last saw her (no one ever looks at my older photos, don't worry about it.) I didn't get to talk to them afterwards, but hopefully I will get to see them in the future with my friend. Zombie Ghost Train aren't having much luck. First, someone got stabbed in the neck with a pen at their show in Las Vegas. Then Mad Sin postponed their tour only a week before it was meant to start. This show was to pay back the fans and to try and recoup some of the money from the tour. They even ended up ringing Mad Sin whilst on stage. I thought they played very well and the crowd got into some heavy slam dancing and circle work. I stayed right out of it so didn't get any photos unfortunately.
