Shonkytonk, Large No. 12's

I was going to wait until tomorrow to write this, but as I drank a pint of Coke I'm not getting to sleep before 1am anyway (I'll listen to Ilana's show - In Bed with Elvis, 96.9 3INR FM, Sun. 11pm-1am)

As GIT has been doing a residency in Brunswick, I haven't seen Shonkyonk for a couple of months so I was looking forward to seeing them today. Of all the places I have seen them, I reckon the Pint on Punt is the best venue as I know all the bar staff there and it's Fred's local.

As today was a special event, two guest spots in the show were filled by George E Bean and Suzannah Espie.

Both sets by Shonkytonk today were excellent, with the harder songs in the second set when they had much more to drink.

The popular Large No. 12's were next and they were also excellent. As I am seeing them next week I only stayed for the first 1/2 hour of their set, but I am sure everyone had a good time for the rest of the time they played.
