Best of PUB Launch

Fred told me about the launch ages ago and I had also bought the preview calendar from a while ago so I was looking forward to the launch.

I hadn't had the chance to see Jessica Paige before, so it was good to see her and I thought she had a lovely voice.

Fred's launch was a bit different with Evo doing a "Roast" style speech of Fred with questions from the audience.

Finishing off the night was Georgia Fields, who was such a good sport with Fred and Bernie deciding to do the "mouth drill orchestra" on every song, especially "this is not a drill". I didn't expect Georgia to play in front of the nude Fred Negro backdrop, but she didn't mind. It was also good to see Yelka do a song as I had heard about her before, but had not gotten the opportunity to see her. Hopefully the next few gigs of Georgia's residency are a bit more subdued.

It had been a busy weekend, so I was glad to head home early and have the Monday off. Cheers to Bernie for his birthday and I will try to make it down to Pure Pop again soon.
