Dave Graney & the Lurid Yellow Mist at the Caravan Music Club 02/07/11

I had been busy the last few weeks with the Queen's Birthday weekend and Community Cup and had not made it to a show at the Caravan since the Bob Dylan tribute show.

The last time I saw Dave Graney was at Record Store day back in April and the Lurid Yellow Mist played at the Stephen Walker benefit back in January at the Forum.

I thought Penny Ikinger played well and there were a few people who came just to see her.

It was a laid-back style show in keeping with the surroundings and there was even a reading from Dave's "1001 Nights" book as the set break of sorts. I enjoyed the show and am looking forward to seeing Graveyard Train for my next show at the Caravan.
