Den Hanrahan and Mick Daley 29/05/11
Retreat Hotel, Sunday 29th May 2011
I didn't know what time Den and Mick were on so I rushed up to the Retreat after Dr Sketchys, only to have to wait as they weren't playing until 8.30pm and there was another band on before them. Normally I would have watched the other band, but everyone else went to drink in the front bar so I decided to join them.
Even though I only ended up staying for about an hour when they came on, I still enjoyed it and it was good to hear Mick and Den playing again and also to catch up with some familar faces and even one person who came down from Sydney for the weekend.
I don't know when the Re-mains are coming down to Melbourne next, but I will try and make it when they do.
