The first Sunday of summer again and this year they decided to try something different and went with an all-vegetarian theme due to an overload of meat in previous years with only token references to vegies.

The ever popular Melbourne BBQ Orchestra returns with some new additions including Paul Thomas on guitar.

Due to people running late, they ended up doing three lettuce songs in order with JVG's "Funky Sausage" being replaced with "Funky Lettuce" and someone even danced along with JVG for once.

Standing in for the Wolfgramm Sisters this year were Sarah, Suzannah and Kerri Simpson who sang well on several songs including one each of their own.

Paulie Stewart & FLYBZ also did well and I am looking forward to seeing them in the future.

Dr Pump finally ended up cracking it with the theme and sang Chop Griller and Rump to make up for it.

Ending the day was Dan Warner and the whole band singing Rocket Man.

This year I had something else on unfortunately and had to go straight down to the Tote to see the Spazzys, Mach Pelican and Guitar Wolf. I will stay to see Dan and the band at the Lomond next year.
