The Rebelles at the Victoria Hotel 27/08/11

I had enjoyed seeing the Rebelles play at the Community Cup and I didn't want to miss them the next time as they do not play many gigs a year and I wanted to see them again before I got too busy with other things. Even though I had a friend down from interstate, I still found time to go out for drinks and then go to the gig and it turned out pretty well as I would have come way to early otherwise.
Judge Pino & The Ruling Motions are a different style than I would normally go to see, but I thought they went well enough.
I was concerned that the gig was going to go too late and I wouldn't be able to get the tram home, but luckily it went for just long enough even with the encore. It was good to see the Rebelles in a room with enough room for the band and for people to dance for a change. They are starting to get a few people following them and do get a lot of girls at their gigs as they play music people want to dance to.
I don't know when they are playing next, but will look out for them and hopefully it will be a good gig.
