Due to being busy with the Caravan Music Club and other gigs it had been a while since I had made it to a gig with Little Freddie and the Pops. Steely was back for a visit after two years also so I decided to give Barrence Whitfield a miss this time and go see the Pops.
I had wanted to go see the Knockouts play with the Rebelles a while back, but there was a really big gig on that I didn't want to miss. I hadn't seen them for a while either and I enjoyed seeing them again.
Special guest with Little Freddie and the Pops was "Sir Paul McCartney" (Steely) who gave Little Freddie an OBE on behalf of the Queen for his services to music and the band played a Wings song to celebrate.
Quite a few of the old Twits gang turned up to celebrate and I even got to drop in to see Molly down the road after the Level Spirits gig, it was a good night.
