I had heard about this gig a while ago and still wanted to try and make it even though I had a big day the next day.

Sarah and Marcel played first and split the songs between them. I hope Marcel gets to play with the Mini Bikes again soon as I miss seeing them.

Craig Pilkington & Barb Waters were up next and Barb played some songs I had not heard for years including Texaco that I have on one of the first CDs I bought when I was starting to get interested in Melbourne bands.

Tanya-Lee Davies and Monique DiMattina also played a combined set with Jody Bell also doing some songs and Barb even getting up to play the drums.

I hadn't seen Mick Thomas and the Sure Thing play since the Christmas show so it was good to see them again and it was a good night, finishing up just a bit after midnight and not too late for me to get up early the next day. It was a special night and it was good to see some people I hadn't seen for a while also.
