I had been next door at the luWOW for Miss Nic's birthday for a few drinks and decided to call in to this gig also as I hadn't seen Digger and the Pussycats or the Toot Toot Toots for a while.

Strangers from Now On were a new band for me and I thought they went alright.

Digger and the Pussycats were great as always even if all the kids wanted to stay out the back and smoke. I am looking forward to their residency at the Tote in November coinciding with the venue's 30th birthday.

The Toot Toot Toots played at the Caravan Music Club a couple of months ago, but I missed it due to the Wash Winter's Willies Away With Whiskey gig so it was good to see them again and on a small stage so they could get close to the audience. I ended up staying for about half the set, but it was still a good night and hopefully their new album does well when they release it next year.
