I had missed the last two Winter Balls and wasn't sure if I was going to make this one, luckily I arranged to go in time and also take photos as I knew it was going to be a big night. It's best that I let my photos tell the story of the night, so I won't describe the night in detail.

Ron Peno and the Superstitions played first and I was surprised to see how big the crowd was as I am used to not as many people usually go to see the first bands. It was good to see them again though and the songs from the new album sound good.

There were a lot of people on the line up, so it was hard to pick a highlight. Most of the guests played one of Charles Jenkins' songs and then he played one of theirs.

The show reminded me of some of the gigs I have seen at the Caravan Music Club and it has also become a social event for this time of year. Cheers to everyone I said hello to on the night and I hope Sarah's lens is OK.
