Benny and the Fly by Niters at the Flying Saucer Club 25/08/12

I did go to the first gig at the Flying Saucer Club, but I hadn't made it back since and I was looking forward to this one as Suzannah and Ian were playing also. I walked down to the venue from home like I was going to do last time, but I was staying somewhere else at the time so I couldn't

The first set had Benny playing with the band and the second is where Suzannah and Ian got up to sing with the band, for a lot longer than I thought they would too.

There were quite a few people up dancing, but I reckon the tables should be pushed back a bit for shows with dancing as it is hard to get up the front.

I didn't know the band was going to take a break until I was at the gig, lucky I did make it as I hadn't seen Benny and the Fly by Niters for a while and won't get to see them for quite a while now. I am looking forward to how Benny's new project the Three Kings goes though.

After the show I did manage to get the tram home, but walked from Hawthorn Rd just as it started raining. Next time I will remember an umbrella.
