Lime Cordiale EP Launch at Ding Dong Lounge

I hadn't heard of this band before, but I had been wanting to go to the refurbished Ding Dong Lounge since it opened so I decided to come along.

Animaux went well and there were more people than I remember turning up to a gig during the week for a show at Ding Dong. They reminded me a bit of Clairy Browne and Saskwatch with the horn section.

Yeo were quite a bit quieter, almost folk. I thought they went well though.

Lime Cordiale had come down from Sydney just for this gig and did manage to get quite a good crowd for their show. The band are multi-instrumentalists so that saves on having a dedicated horn section. I thought they went well and I will try to see them in the future when they make it down.
