Rebelles at the St Kilda Bowling Club 08/09/12

It had been a while since I went to see the Rebelles, so I was looking forward to this gig. I was also asked to come down early to see Pelvis.

Pelvis was a parody Elvis band with Jessabella and Fiona Lee Maynard singing backing vocals and the part of Elvis was played by Glen Maynard. They even went down to Maccas to get cheeseburgers that ended up being thrown around the stage and mashed up. I ended up taking a lot of photos as they were funny.

Thee Wylde Oscars played next, it had been a while since I had seen them and they played as well as I remember them last.

There were quite a few people by the time the Rebelles started and lots of people were dancing. I even managed to stay to the end of the show and was glad I did as they are having a break for a while to record their new album. I will try and go to their Christmas show though.
