Songwriter Slam at the Melbourne Writers' Festival 02/09/12

I had agreed to come to this event quite a while ago, although I could've still made Dr Sketchys, I did not want to have to leave in the middle of it.

There were some good performers from the other songwriters and Rebecca Barnard played a few songs in the first half.

Michael and Trish opened the second half and then Ben did a few of his poems including a new one about his sister, who was in the audience.

I will try to go see a couple of the performers from the night, but will see how I go when I am able to see them.

It was a good show and also I was able to stay around for a while afterwards to attend the end of writers festival party and not have to rush off.
