I was lucky enough to go to this event last year and wanted to go this year even though I haven't been working for a month. I even managed to get in a visit to the Tiki Lounge up the road before the gig, although only had two drinks this time.

I got to talk to Marita and Stuart from the Orbweavers before the show, which is always good as the last time I was able to was at their in store at Basement Discs at the start of the year.

First up was Alex Lash lie, who also played at the Pure Pop fundraiser a couple of months back and was well received.

There were a lot of people on the line up and in between sets Pony Face played with special guest Liz Stringer on the tambourine for one song.

Georgia Fields didn't sing a song this year, but she got up to sing backing vocals on one song and play percussion.

It was a great show and I am looking forward to next year's performance already.
