Flying Saucer Club, Friday 24th May 2013

I had enjoyed Georgia Field's show of Ziggy Stardust at Pure Pop and had missed the other two shows in this line up so I was looking forward to this event.

Duke Batavia was up first and they did the album in reverse order to mix it up a bit. I did get to talk to Ben Birchall before the show and found out the band will not be playing at the Mix CD Social next month, but he will be there. I also finally got to give Georgia Fields the photos from last year's event.

The Need Somebodies were the second act playing Raw Power and a lot of the audience seemed to have come just for that part of the night.

Capping off the night was Georgia Fields with her string trio and extra special costumes including Georgia's golden skeleton gloves and "Space Goddess" dress. As a special treat for the encore they did one song off David Bowie's new album "The Next Day".
