I have always enjoyed JVG's BBQ Day and Radiothon shows and also the last three Stopping All Stations gigs at the Caravan Music Club so I was looking forward to this show. It was always going to be a bit of a different show as it is a pub with live music and not a venue specialising in music.

Ian Bland's civilising influence was missed also. (Yes, Dan Warner and you too.) Gave me the irrits that people would not be quiet while some people were doing their songs, the beer garden is there for a reason idiot.

After it got up to speed the night went a lot better. It was a lot smaller venue so there was no door list, even I paid this time and was glad to be able to do so. It was quite a diverse range of artists including some non-singers having a crack and two different spoken word pieces.

The night seemed to go by pretty quickly, everything has to be over and done with by 11pm at the venue so I was able to catch the 246 bus down Punt Rd home and talk to the people arriving at the pub from the footy on the way.
