Fiona Lee Maynard and her Holy Men CD Launch 14/06/13

I was never going to miss this, there were three birthdays on the night including Fiona's and a lot of people I knew were there. I kept having to go over and say hello to people. It really does feel like a community celebration when local bands like Fiona's or the Twelves play at the venue.

Jack Howard's band played first and he also did spots with both the other bands. It was a good set and I see he is doing the Burt Bacharach gig coming up again due to popular demand with all new songs.

It was a surprise that Fiona went second, but I guess she wanted to enjoy her birthday party as well as playing. They did get people up dancing and Fred even kept his pants on to sing happy birthday like Marilyn Monroe.

Finishing off the night where the Large Number 12s who were great as always. It was a great night and I even ended up walking home and wasn't too sore the next day unlike the Anzac Day Eve gig.
